Use it or lose it

I'm Standing!
I’m Standing!

For most people exercise is optional, they do it to be able to lift something heavy or loose weight. I exercise to prevent my muscles from atrophying, so I must use them or lose them.

Physical therapy isn’t hard except when you try to make something work that will no longer communicate with the rest of your body as a team. The human body is so complex, many different systems work together to complete one simple task. That’s why it is important to care for your body as a whole and not just as a way to gain what you want. It’s one thing to be strong or thin, it’s another to be health.

Some people exercise a lot yet can never be as strong or as thin as they want to be while others are strong or thin naturally. No one has a perfect body so we need to stop trying to get one cause it only exists in a magazine. When I feel that my body is not perfect I remember that even models are photo-shopped!

I need physical therapy but even though it is important to always try to be as physically able as I can be one of the most important things in life is to happy. Even though it sounds silly doing things that make me happy, make me health. Don’t go over board with things that make you happy though, but balance it with activities you dislike.

“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:┬ábut a broken spirit drieth the bones. – Proverbs 17:22
