Standard

Sarah, Cassi and Ari

No one is perfect, everyone is human and holding some one to a high standard is unfair both to you and to them because there’s no where to go but down.

There are certain people that you put on a pedestal simply because you have a good first impression of them and others who have a higher calling such as a Pastor or a Doctor. No one person is better than another, because what we see is not always what we get.

This may sound redundant but no one is perfect and even if you think someone is perfect, it is impossible to maintain perfection.

“Beauty is only skin deep.”

A beautiful body doesn’t always mean they have a beautiful soul. The saying

“Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”

can be true for more than just books. Some of the most wonderful people I know are no ravishing beauty on the outside, but have the most beautiful soul. Yet some of the most beautiful people have a truly ugly soul.

Then who should we have our kids look up to and put on a pedestal? There are many people to look up to, but perhaps not to emulate. Because once again NO ONE IS PERFECT!
