Laughter

Laughter

“Laughter is the best Medicine” This I believe wholeheartedly, it however is hard to prove. When someone says laughter or happiness is healthy, you may be wondering what they’ve been smoking; you may think “I like to be happy and to laugh, but that doesn’t make it healthy”.

Some of the best thinks in life are not easy to explain and your laughter not only improves your mood, but makes those around you happy as well. One evening my husband and I were having a argument in the car as we drove to town, I started laughing at something he said to me while we were arguing, and that was it; the argument was over.

Laughter and happiness are important in life. At the end of your life when you are asked if you truly lived, you are not being asked if you traveled and did things that everyone should do in their life, but if you were happy, did you enjoy your life, did you laugh.

I love to laugh, sometimes I laugh so hard I fall over, luckily Stephen caught me before I fell on our wedding day. Falling over isn’t fun, but laughing can not help but lift my mood.

Being disabled it is so important to remember to be happy, and to laugh. All though laughing isn’t always our choice, being happy is. So if I want a happy life, I have to choose to be happy. So many things in my life can make me upset and drag me down and I have to make a conscious effort to pick myself back up again. My life isn’t just my disability; it’s how I handle it. So remember to be happy and laugh.
